CARLA TOMASO reads and discusses FROZEN

Imagine Joan Crawford-turned-Frankenstein-reborn-as-Honey Boo Boo. Only then will you begin to understand the monster at the center of FROZEN, the story of a woman who must reanimate her cryogenically frozen, narcissistic mother and raise her from childhood. Elizabeth is determined to re-raise horrible Helen to be the mom she deserves, but her mother-turned-daughter is worse than ever.

CARLA TOMASO lives in Pasadena, California, where she works as a teacher. She has written plays, screenplays, novels, and short stories. She lives with her partner, Mary Hayden, a psychologist in private practice. Frozen is her fifth book. After receiving her master’s in creative writing from Boston University, Tomaso published two novels with Penguin/Plume, The House of Real Love and Matricide. She published Maryfield Academy with Haworth Press and Voyages Out with Seal Press.
