INDIES FIRST! NATIONAL CELEBRATION OF INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORES!

Join us for our annual celebration of all things indie!

If anyone reads as much as booksellers, it's definitely authors, so you'll get some great recommendations! Come in, chat with them if you like, pick their brains, ask for their suggestions.

12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Wendy Ortiz, author of the new "dreamoir" Bruja, along with Hollywood Notebook and Excavation, will be here recommending some of her favorite poetry, fiction and nonfiction.

12:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Cecil Castellucci, author of a number of young adult novels, including Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens Moving Target: A Princess Leia Adventure will be recommending books for young adults and graphic novels.

2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Marisa Silver, multi-award winner and NYT's best-selling author of Mary Coin, as well as her latest novel Little Nothing, will be recommending some of her favorite poetry and fiction.

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Nicelle Davis, author of the books of poetry The Walled Wife, Becoming Judas and In the Circus of You will be recommending her favorite books of poetry and nonfiction.

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
