13 Year Old Caroline Tan recommends:
Paper Towns was a wonderful book. The events were unpredictable it seemed like I was there along with everybody else in the book. It's cool because I could relate to one of the characters in the book named Margo. She has a troubled life inside her mind though she smiles and makes it seems like she's happy. She described herself as a paper girl whose last string got cut. The story seemed realistic. John Green, the author obviously knew what he was writing about!

Sara Gorton, 12 years old, says:
Lisa Yee's Absolutely Maybe is a wonderful book about a girl who just wants a home where no one judges her. Maybelline, or Maybe, as she calls herself, is the daughter of a former beauty queen in Kissimmee, Florida. Her mother, Chessy, has married 6 times, and when she chooses her 7th husband over Maybe, she and her friends, Ted and Hollywood, set out to find her real father in California. In California, Ted, Hollywood, and Maybe discover things about themselves they never knew, and become closer than ever. Absolutely Maybe is very thoughtful and dwells upon what people feel but are afraid to tell anyone.

Penelope Penelope Abee, 13 years old, says:
Dark Dude is great. Really, I couldn't put it down. It's a dark story of a boy, Rico living in a drug filled, Brown-hood that isn't made for him. At the same time its beautiful how this boy chooses to live and cope with such an environment. Creating a sweet personality, being cool and at the same time finds himself. I really advise this to any teen who loves an exciting, kickass, cool novel. And if you're a light Hispanic like me and Rico, your in for a pat on your back.
