About the Author

Yasbil Mendoza Huerta is a musician and anthropologist. She holds a degree in linguistics from Mexico’s National School of Anthropology and History, and she completed her musical education at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has participated as a lecturer in several seminaries and congresses on anthropology, both in her native Mexico and abroad.
