Back by popular demand! BEST Friends of LAPL, publisher of the Hidden Heroes, is hosting a repeat performance of the book launch. The event will showcase the ongoing work from Octavia Lab staff, in partnership with the L.A. Conservancy, for bringing to light less-than-well-known heroes and locations in the Los Angeles area. Guests include family members/organizations/scholars for the following subjects in the coloring book: Dr. Virginia Uribe, Arnett Hartsfield, J.L. Edmonds, John Ballard, and more!
About Hidden Heroes, Historic Places:
This family friendly coloring book is all about the celebrating and learning of Los Angeles’s forgotten heroes through beautiful coloring pages, biographies, location descriptions and activities. Whether you're young or old, a Los Angeles history buff or just starting to learn about the city, this 34 page coloring book is a fun and interactive way to explore.
