*CANCELED* THE BREAKBEAT POETS VOL 4: LATINEXT, with José Olivarez

The Breakbeat Poets Vol 4: LatiNext (Haymarket Books)

Join us in celebrating the release of The Breakbeat Poets Vol 4: LatiNext, an anthology that opposes silence and re-mixes the soundtrack of the Latinx diaspora across diverse poetic tradition. In the dynamic tradition of the BreakBeat Poets anthology series, LatiNext celebrates the emovided narratives of Latinidad. Poets speak from an array of nationalities, genders, sexualities, races and writing styles, staking a claim to cultural and civic space. The event will feature performances by editor José Olivarez and contributors. A book-signing will follow the event.

José Olivarez is the son of Mexican immigrants. His debut book of poems, Citizen Illegal, was a finalist for the PEN/Jean Stein Award and won the 2018 Chicago Review of Books Poetry Prize.
