Skylight Books and Poets At Work present a celebration of National Poetry Month

FEARLESS FORMS

Members of Poets At Work read new and enticing poems and will discuss the formal structures that shape them.

Joining us will be:

Yvonne M. Estrada is the author of the chapbook, My Name on Top of Yours, a crown of sonnets accompanied by original photographs.

Dylan Cameron Gailey: Born and raised in Echo Park. Fed the ducks at Echo's Lake. Different ducks, different day.

Anthony Giambra lives in Los Angeles. He has been published online, and published a chapbook of poems titled Wannabe on September 25, 2017.

Eric Howard's recent book, Taliban Beach Party, addresses Los Angeles history through such formal structures as blank and rhymed verse.

Brett Hofer is a poet visual artist and the 2012 recipient of the Asvoff Paris best acting prize.

Ann Pibel: I’m a librarian who writes poetry.

Paula Rudnick: In her career as a TV producer, Paula was advised never to put anything in writing.  So it’s taken a while….

Helen Yeoman has had poems published in YayLA magazine and in the anthology, Like a Girl.

Terry Wolverton is the author of 11 books of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, most recently, Ruin Porn.
