10 Lucky customers will receive a limited edition, signed and numbered giclee, printed exclusively for Skylight Books. each giclee is 11x17, printed on Hahnemule Museum Etching fine art paper and uses Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks, and will be accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
During the month of October (October 2 until 5 p.m. on October 30) all customers who make a purchase of $40 or more are eligible to receive a raffle ticket which qualifies them to win one of these 10 coveted and unique prints. The raffle will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 5 p.m. and once these prints are gone they will not be reproduced, nor be available for sale. This will be the only opportunity for the public to win one of these prints, which was originally published in the June 9 & 10, 2008 issue of The New Yorker.
Adrian Tomine is an internationally famous artist and graphic designer. his work has been featured in The New Yorker, Esquire, Rolling Stone, and Time among others. He might be best known for his comic book series Optic Nerve and is also the author of Summer Blonde, Sleepwalk and Other Stories, and most recently Shortcomings. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
