Youth Center Book Drive

This month, we are raising funds and collecting book donations to support three LA youth centers: the East LA Community Youth Center, the Asian Youth Center, and the LA LGBT Center!

Reading teaches children about the past and help them imagine the future, and gives them a glimpse into new worlds and experiences. Books show us we can do and be anything!

Help our local youth access these great books by shopping the wishlists below, or donate directly via GoFundMe here!

Below you'll find more information about our Youth Center partners for this project:

The East Los Angeles Community Youth Center (ELACYC) is a non-profit organization that offers hands-on classes, labs, and fun activities in fields of STEAM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Art & Math). We do these through our afterschool program, all-day seasonal camps, and Saturday classes. Additionally, we provide homework assistance, and tutoring to all our members that need that extra helping hand. https://www.eastlacyc.org/

Asian Youth Center (AYC) is a community-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN #33-0383691) whose mission is to empower low-income, immigrant, and at-risk youth, of all communities, to overcome barriers to success through the provision of culturally and linguistically competent education, employment, and social services. We help youth succeed in school, at work, and in life! https://www.aycla.org/

The Los Angeles LGBT Center provides services for more LGBT people than any other organization in the world, offering programs, services, and global advocacy that span four broad categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy. We are an unstoppable force in the fight against bigotry and the struggle to build a better world, a world in which LGBT people can be healthy, equal, and complete members of society. https://lalgbtcenter.org/
